RESIDENTS in residential care were entertained in their homes as part of the Casey Ageing Positively series in the Winter Arts Program.

Casey manager of arts and leisure Robyn Bowen said feedback from older residents on the initial concerts was terrific.

Older residents were treated to concerts by talented local musical and school groups as part of the Casey Winter Arts Program.

The annual Winter Arts Program runs throughout July and showcases arts and cultural opportunities, Ms Bowen said.

We recognised that some residents in residential care facilities may have been missing out of the Winter Arts Program fun and we decided to create the Ageing Positively Concert Series to bring some of the excitement to them at their homes.

Groups involved in the concert series included the Cranbourne Lions Concert Band, Cranbourne Chorale, Just Harmony, Berwick Youth Choir, Serendipity Concert Party, Casey U3A Singers, Casey Hungarian Senior Citizens Club and Eumemmerring College.
