THE Australian Plants Society will hold its annual spring plant sale at Wilson Botanic Park, Princes Highway, Berwick on Saturday, 2 September and Sunday, 3 September.
The event is supported by the City of Casey and held annually on the first weekend in September to coincide with Wattle Day.
Coordinators Rob Pritchard and Joy Buck said Wilson Botanic Park was an attractive site with good amenities and a venue well worth visiting.
The sale starts at 9am on both days and closes at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.
Entry is free.
They said 12 wholesale nurseries would be present and offering plants for sale.
They will also provide advice on soil conditions and best aspects to plant.
Food vendors will be available and a swing band will play at intervals on Saturday and a small group will also play on Sunday.
Other activities include childrens face painting, craft and a Gumnut Counting Competition which all are free to enter.
Books will be available for sale in the administration building.
